Warranty
Limited Warranty offered by Jdm Tennessee Engine Imports Inc. from the date of purchased as follows:
- Used Performance Engines/Transmission – 30 Days
- Used Replacement Engines/Transmission – 60 Days
- All Rotary Engines -(Mazda RX-7 13BT/13BTT/20B) ARE NOT UNDER WARRANTY
- All Electronical/Electronic Parts – No Warranty
Jdm Tennessee Engine Imports inc. will be responsible to either replace or fix the defective part only, at our discretion. Your mechanic is at no point in time authorized to disassemble our engine or transmission unless otherwise noted.
PARTS NOT COVERED OR DISCLAIMER
- The warranty will cover that no problems will occur if the engine is installed in the vehicle properly by a certified mechanic. In the event that a part of the engine block or head is found to be defective, this part will be replaced.
- Our warranty covers all internal engine parts. Engine block, cylinder barrels and cylinder head are also warranted to be free of cracks or distortion.
- Warranty is VOID if engine is blown or seized due to customer negligence – (i.e, racing, running vehicle without motor oil, high revving, improper installation etc)
- All wear and tear parts (e.g. timing belt, water pump, belts, seals, spark plugs, spark plug wires, etc.) are not covered under warranty.
- Warranty of any Seized or Blown engines by customer during warranty period due to unprofessional installation or any other reason is void.
- We are not responsible for labor or returned freight charges.
- Professional installation is required. We do not provide technical support for installations and do highly recommend if you are not familiar with the swap to please consult with a professional mechanic.
- If certified mechanic does not install the engine/transmission, the warranty is void.
- Tennessee Jdm Motors will not be held responsible if the engine purchased does not fit into the designated vehicle. Before purchasing the engine/transmission, the customer must verify that the engine will fit into said vehicle. We will not be held responsible if incorrect engine is purchased.
SMOKE & EMISSION
Jdm Tennessee Engine Imports inc. will NOT be held responsible for the failure of emissions or smog test. Please verify with your local authorities if the engine passes smog and emissions regulations in your state.
CLAIM AND RETURN
The customer can return our defective product within their warranty time, and must report to us prior shipping it back. Once the item is received our inspector member will inspect our product to make sure it is our part and it hasn’t been damage by unqualified mechanic. Our warranty does not cover the labor for installation. The shipping and handling is not cover as well. Our entire product will be inspected before we ship any part from Tennessee Jdm Engine Imports Inc.
RESTOCKING
If in any case a product is returned, there will be a restocking fee placed on item(s) of 25% when applicable. All returns/exchanges must be pre-approved by Tennessee Jdm Engine Imports Inc. Any approved return shall be accompanied by a RMA number provided by Tennessee JDM Engine Imports inc.
