The F20C held the record for producing the highest specific power output for any mass production naturally aspirated piston engine with 123.5HP/L until Ferrari began production of 458 Italia in 2010, which produces 124.5 HP/L.

 F20C has been designed more than a decade ago, but it’s still one of the highest output per litre and highest revving engines ever made. In recognition of its incredible power output, the Honda S2000’s engine has won the International Engine of the Year category for 1.8 to 2.2 litre engines five times in its lifetime.
